SOUTH ASIAN THEATER NEWS - October 03, 2003, Backstage newspaper did a feature story, 2003-04 Off-Broadway Season Preview: Fun, Fame and Reflection.  The following week they completed with their comprehensive list of theatre companies, along with complete casting information in a feature story, Stages in the City: Off- and Off-Off-Broadway Theatre Companies and SALAAM Theatre was chosen to be included in the list for the third year in a row (2001, 2002, 2003), an honor that was only bestowed on one South Asian American theatre company - SALAAM Theatre.  Obviously we are very proud of this and hope that in the years to come, we continue to run with the rest of the professional theatres in the city, country and world.

Indeed a lovely little anniversary present for us, celebrating three non-stop years of programming!  South Asian Theater rocks on!!!
