What to expect at THE CITYGIRL SOIREE on the 6th? Cristal Snow is our Mistress of Ceremonies who will be doing a night full of goodies! Julio Alexi Genao, one of Citygirl's biggest fans, will be singin'' an original song written for the insane Libra Lady entitled "Mine" (this will be his debut of one of his original pieces). Hopefully he'll be accompanied by Jarod Gibson! Jay Mandal, amazingly famous photographer and wonderful spirit will be surprising us with a few words by Rabindranath Tagore and maybe a song? Bina Sharif, a playwright (has had many plays published), actress and director will be doing an original monologue entitled, "The Blow Job" which is actually a dialogue between 2 women - just you wait! sean, spoken word poet will be doing a piece entitled "one" about self-discovery. Peter Lane and Nhojj'll accompany him with music described as "universal that includes African rhythms, jazz inflections, funk nuances, with elements of traditional Indian music." Vijai Nathan who was recently seen at the Gotham Comedy Club will be getting in touch with her desi roots this weekend by performing at this gig and heading over to the Diasporadics event on Saturday. She will have you all rolling with her ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) humor! Rizwan Ahmad Mirza, the gorgeous Leo Man whose rock band TAJ has a song appropriately titled GEETA, will be performing that piece along with fellow rocker, Khalid. The Citygirl parental units will be in attendance - for those of you who have always wanted to meet Mr. and Mrs. Citygirl! This special event is to celebrate Citygirl's 29th Birthday and the birth of SALAAM (South Asian League of Artists in AMerica). ***Don't bring anything except your presence and good energy!*** Peace & Much Love,
