An Evening of Eastern & Western Poetry
featuring

Prashant Kumar and Rachel Astarte Piccione

One year ago, Rachel Astarte Piccione and Prashant Kumar met through their work in film. Join these two writer-actors for an evening that celebrates the union of cultures through English and Hindi/Urdu poetry.

The performances will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Geeta Citygirl and a BOOK SALES/Signing session (a portion of the profits from the book sales will be donated to SALAAM Theatre so bring an extra $10 to purchase a copy of Prashant's book of poetry).

Plus stay for our traditional reception with refreshments and our much-loved vegetarian samosas.  And be sure to check out our community corner featuring FREE magazines and TONS of great information about other events happening around town.
